Image of the week – January 17th 2014

Today we’ve got something a bit different to the usual types of images we feature.

With the ever increasing exposure to mapping and aerial photography on our computers and phones, it’s surprising how easily recognisable cities are from nothing other than their architectural layout.

Below are four small areas from big cities  in Europe, shown as nothing more than our building polygons taken from our Blom3D libraries. Even without the labels, I’m sure you’d recognise a few of them.
