Cadastral information is extremely important in most countries; Cadastral mapping provides the basis for efficient real estate management and supports economic development and growth.
Initiating cadastral mapping or updating the information is a massive task for any agency. Accuracy in both geographical and information terms is a massive challenge but is extremely important when maintaining an accurate, efficient and useful dataset. Blom has many years of experience of providing consultancy and contracted mapping services for the preparation of cadastral maps and real estate property databases. Blom offers a broad range of products and services that are required for property management, as well as for updating information about parcels, assessments of land boundaries or adjustments of ownership rights to land.
The Blom Group has many years of experience in understanding Cadastre and Landbook Registration, in modelling cadastral operations and establishing a suitable and efficient workflow procedure.
Building development architecture suitable for GIS and Cadastre systems, using the latest technology and IT standards, is a first priority in the analysis and designing phase.
Cadastral systems designed and developed by Blom specialists are based on a request solving approach, meaning that any change in the database is initiated by a recorded request from a Client.
The Cadastre database system employs a locked down method of data handling. This means that the data remains locked until a request of change is authorised by a Cadastre systems administrator. Such modification could include changes to property boundaries, subdivision or amalgamation of neighbouring parcels, registering new building, registering change of ownership or mortgage, etc.
Client requests are registered by means of a standard application form and allocated to an administrator who has the role of processing cadastral or Landbook requests. This approach provides transparency in Cadastre Registration, prevents corruption and false data registration.
The validation processes that Blom has implemented help assure a good quality of data and avoid inconsistencies. They also help maintain integrity of the cadastral information and maintain an organised database structure.
The Blom Group has also implemented history retrieving and archive consulting techniques across cadastral systems. Historic objects are archived, as well as previous owners and rights. This also means that history tracking is possible at any time by searching through archived data such as cadastral numbers, request registration number, owner name, address, date etc.
