APPOINTMENT OF NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR IN BLOM UK

Blom is delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Fox as Managing Director of UK operations. Dave brings considerable experience to Blom and will be instrumental in building upon the foundations Blom has throughout the UK.

Blom welcomes Dave after great success from overseeing a sixth-fold growth of Infoterra Ltd as CEO during the last 12 years. “I am delighted to be joining Blom at a very exciting time for the business, and looking forward to working with the team in the UK and elsewhere in the Group to further grow and develop the business. After my first few days at Blom it is very clear there is a great team and a fantastic capability and I’m sure that through building upon and enhancing this combination we can provide even better, innovative, services to Blom’s current customers- and develop many new ones too”, says Dave Fox, MD Blom UK.
 

About Dave Fox
Dave has a Geography Degree from Durham University and a postgraduate qualification in Land and Water management from Silsoe College, Cranfield. Dave worked in the geo-information sector for his entire career; initially he spent 6 years with the Ministry of Defence and then transferred to Infoterra Ltd (formerly NRSC Ltd) during 1991. After a range of technical and management roles, Dave took over as the CEO of Infoterra Ltd in 1998; over the next 12 years he grew the business six-fold to develop it into one of the major players in the UK geo-information marketplace. Dave also has played a role for many years on the Board of the pan-European Spot-Infoterra group, with a particular focus on strategy development, M & A coordination of the Groups products/service portfolio and the introduction of Infoterra into a range of vertical markets.
