BLOM ACTIVE IN EUROPE'S MOST COMPLEX AIR TRAFFIC ZONE

Blom has been awarded a contract by ICC- Dataland (Informatie- en Coördinatie Centrum) in the Netherlands for high resolution orthophoto production. ICC coordinates and conducts airborne remote sensing requests, such as aerial photography, for public authorities within the TMA zone of Schiphol, the Dutch national airport. The project includes orthophoto production covering twenty Dutch municipalities, in addition to a water board. The project will be started in January 2011 with app. six months expected duration.

The project includes aerial photography, aerial triangulation, DTM (Digital Terrain Model) enhancement and orthophoto production. In 2010, Blom successfully executed a similar project for ICC and profound confidence in Blom was established by the customer.

About ICC
The ICC coordinates and conducts airborne remote sensing requests, such as aerial photography, for public authorities within the TMA zone of Schiphol, the national airport of The Netherlands. The ICC tunes these requests with LVNL (Air Traffic Control) and IVW (Inspection of Transport Services). The ICC takes care of joint tenders and act as a knowledge and information centre.
