Oblique presentation of Norway’s major towns

Gule Sider experienced a vigorous increase in online traffic when they supplemented its map finding service by showing oblique aerial photographs of Oslo. The success has led to the map finding service being extended to include oblique, aerial images of Bergen, Trondheim, Stavanger, Sandnes, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Malvik, Skien, Porsgrunn, Ringerike, Drammen, Nedre Eiker and Kristiansand.

- Blom’s new map technology has entailed a growth in online traffic and number of searches that far surpasses our imagination. It is therefore with great pleasure that we are making the map finding service available to our customers in other towns. We are confident that the use of oblique maps will become equally popular across the whole country, Tore Andre Godager, Portal Manager of says.
