Blom awarded contract by The National Survey and Cadastre in Denmark

BlomInfo A/S, Blom’s subsidiary in Denmark, has signed a contract with Kort - & Matrikelstyrelsen (KMS), The National Survey and Cadastre in Denmark, for production of digital maps in Northern Jutland in Denmark. KMS is Denmark's public authority for maps and geo data. The project will cover seven municipalities in Northern Jutland, totaling a 3.900 sq.km area.

Blom has been producing maps and geo data for KMS annually since 1999, and this new contract award is a positive proof that Blom’s expertise, competence and quality ensures the continuation of the partnership between KMS and Blom” says Kristian Skak-Nielsen, Managing Director BlomInfo A/S.

The digital maps are being produced in FOT standard based on aerial photos. The project is expected to be completed by first quarter 2010.
