Blom ASA's subsidiary in Denmark has submitted a bid for aerial photography, mapping and the development of a property register to the State Committee of Ukraine on Land Resources.

The contract is part of a project financed by the World Bank, and the bid was submitted based on International Competitive Bidding. Blom had the best bid at the official opening of the bids.

It is expected that the contract will be awarded in the spring of 2005 after a technical and formal evaluation. The contract is valued at NOK 32.5 million, and it will have a duration of 3 years. The political situation may affect the date of the actual awarding of the contract and start-up.

The contract encompasses 2 of the 27 provinces in the Ukraine. All the provinces will be subjected to the same process as part of the Ukraine's transition to a market economy.

The contract offer confirms that Blom ASA, which represents a stronger consolidated Scandinavian platform now, will also have access to major international contracts.
